ASCC Launches Tournament Website (FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE)
LEKKI, LAGOS, NIGERIA – August 18, 2026 – The Schools Sports Group is thrilled to announce the official launch of its highly anticipated All-Schools’ Chess Championship (ASCC) website. The new online platform, which is live at www.ascc.com.ng, will serve as the central digital hub for all updates, schedules, and official communications regarding the competition.
Designed to streamline the experience for participating institutions, players, students, and coaches/mentors, the newly launched portal will provide periodic updates for the games/event. As the momentum builds toward the first chess games of the competition, this website will act as the primary resource for tournament rules, venue updates (or change), judging guidelines, and live tournament games.
With our young chess masters in mind, the new portal (ascc.com.ng) serves as a resource site, where where participating schools from across the region can easily find the information they need to prepare their School Team/Reps for the anticipated tournament.
School administrators, students, sports masters, arbiters, and chess hobbyists alike, are encouraged to bookmark the site and check frequently for latest tournament news updates, as the games arrive.
